Biography

Ash is a fairly run-of-the-mill college dropout possessed by an ageless, voracious demon. The circumstances of their meeting was nothing short of coincidence, but they have since become inseparable. The demon, who Ash had come to call "Soot", was initially hell-bent on consuming the bodies and souls of the kind that damned him, but found itself enamored by the humans' culinary mastery. Residing latent and relatively passive within the girl's body, it feeds off her life force in exchange for morphing and enhancing her physical traits; a fair trade in Soot's eyes, though Ash finds its meddling more inconvenient than anything.
